Incoming!


There are several pairs of Sand Hill Cranes that frequent our rural neighborhood each year. This pair is fond of the fields located next to the farmette in yesterday's post. The image is a little blurry because I had to zoom in quickly once I heard their throaty, garbled warble above me as they came in for a landing. Highly entertaining birds!

GREAT crane photos. They are big, I know, but they even look big in the sky--wow!
We are expecting two days of sun in Minnesota and plan to ride our motorcycle along the Mississippi River--hope you have the same great weather in WI.

great photo... it reminds me of when we saw them in South Dakota... Steve said... "That can't be??? It that really a Craine?"... He things they only grow in California... silly hug?... great photo!!! {{hugs}} Michelle
