Fireworks!

One of the splendid fireworks displayed over Pewaukee Lake on the Fourth of July. So many communities around here in southeast Wisconsin had their celebrations canceled because of the near draught conditions and increased chance of fire.  However, since Pewaukee shoots theirs over the lake, they were allowed to continue.

There Were Fireworks

...and the earth moved.

But of course, it was the Fourth of July.

Mr. PewaukeeDailyPhoto finally downloaded the pictures I took with his camera over the Independence Day weekend. Surprisingly, several shots of the fireworks actually worked out pretty well. As in life, timing is everything.
