Billowing Clouds

While driving home from work the other day, there were white clouds billowing up in the distance.  Behind me the sky was threatening to storm, and you could see the contrast reflected in the glass towers ahead.

Whoosh! SkyWatch Friday

Near my work there is a small shopping area with a few restaurants, shops, and a hotel.  Driving over there for lunch one day I noticed the clouds appeared to be "whooshing" across the sky, leaving a trail behind.

Skywatch Friday: Storm Blowin' Through

These are the "Two Towers" - the glass bank towers I showed in a previous post that are located over by where I work. This angle, looking east, shows the dark thunderstorm clouds that had just passed by while the glass reflects the sunset sky in the west.

Skywatch Friday: It's a dangerous job...

...but someone has to do it. These men were earning their living by keeping the view clean for all the office workers in this glass bank tower on Hwy 45 & Good Hope Rd. (See below.) It also has a matching twin tower not visible in these photos. The towers reflect the changing moods of the sky and blend into their surroundings. They're technically located in the northwest corner of Milwaukee (right next to Waukesha County) but I work in one of the buildings behind them & couldn't resist.
