"The Oaks" is a small, but nicely appointed, subdivision near our house. The only issue I have is that they had to cut down a few giant oaks to build the houses there, only to replace them with the twigs below....
Hopefully they will be as mighty as their predecessors one day.

If they were going to call it "The Oaks", I would have thought that they would have tried to keep the big old trees and build around them. Strange. They should call it "once upon a time, there were Oaks".
well...one day... they might be big and strong... but right now.. they're just little hopefulls.
