The City Daily Photo theme for this month is "doorways." I don't have an image of one to post here today, but this view down a lonely nearby road, flanked with golden maples, seems to represent the "doorway to November."

What a clever take on the theme! And a lovely scene to look at too. Fall is my favorite time of year. I can almost smell the fallen leaves on the ground.
A tree tunnel -- all our fall color came down in the wind and rain the last couple of days. A nice photo.
