Mr. PewaukeeDailyPhoto finally downloaded the pictures I took with his camera over the Independence Day weekend. Surprisingly, several shots of the fireworks actually worked out pretty well. As in life, timing is everything.

Fascinating...the first photo shows fireworks, also? Did you play with that a bit in Photoshop?

Jacob - the first picture is an undoctored photo. I took about 15 frames and these two are the ones that turned out the most interesting. The hard part was actually getting the "snap" at the precise time of explosion.
I took a shot almost the same as your top shot last year. Looks terrific white on black.
