This week has been so hectic with work and family issues, that I haven't had time to do much photography, so I'm posting an interesting photo I took last summer right here in our neighborhood. The sun was setting directly behind an evening thunderstorm and the visual effect was quite dramatic.

What an unusual shot. Is that what they call a solar pillar? How lucky to catch it! I chose a sunset for my Skywatch contribution. I invite you to come see it. - Margy
