The silvery buds of the American Pussy Willow tree are a sure sign of spring in the upper Midwest. Give them a few (relatively) warm sunny days and the branches begin to blossom out like the photo above. A nice contrast against a clear blue sky. Yay! I think spring might finally be here.... :-)
